The Studio
Based in Brighton, Sussex, we specialise in achieving planning in the complex built environment of the South Coast, aided by our extensive knowledge of the city and the surrounding countryside.
We are experienced in helping our clients develop their ideas into realistic proposals. We pride ourselves on enthusiasm and honesty when it comes to the potential of a project. We want to help you make the most of your space.
We have a strong focus on sustainability and believe in incorporating it at the early stages of a project. Not only does it help to save the planet but also to save on the bills, and often provides the base for even more creative designs.

Nicholas Dunlop
Nicholas graduated from Manchester School of Architecture and received his diploma at London Metropolitan University. He was chosen to participate in workshops in Havana, Cadiz and Helsinki, exploring the urban fabric of those cities.
After graduating, Nicholas worked in Asia, predominantly in Shanghai, gaining knowledge in fast-developing cities. In the UK, he has worked in a number of award-winning Architecture practices leading projects in both urban and rural landscapes. He has extensive experience in Residential, Hospitality and Development projects as well as Refurbishment in Listed Buildings. He is accustomed to handling multiple complex planning applications in delicate sites in cities and towns across the UK, and is experienced in engaging with planners for an effective results.
